Fuck 2 a.m. curfews.

So, unfortunately, despite much research, we couldn't find a club.

Well, we could, but not one whose clientele wasn't predominantly gay men. And no, I'm not kidding. Because of this insane prejudice, we just hung out by the Eiffel Tower again and met more people from random parts of the world. The main guy we talked to tonight was from Hungary and he was awesome. After running out of stuff, Greg J and I spent at least (AT LEAST) 45 minutes trying to find a convenience store open that we could buy alcohol at. After an eternal stretch of stumbling around, we were led by some guy who worked at a pizza place to an open place and got the elusive beer. Colin and I finished out the night by hanging outside with a teacher from Switzerland while Greg J, Dave and Ryan fell asleep. Tomorrow, we head off to Geneva, Switzerland which we all feel will be a much needed rest and relaxation period from the rest of hectic Europe.

Zoey, if you're reading this, I apologize for doing almost nothing that you recommended. All our time was cut short by both my late arrival as well as our lack of money, sexiness, ability to stay out past 2 a.m. and heterosexual tendencies. But I swear, we'll back be here another time to experience all the wonder that Paris has to offer.

Some notes about Europeans in general:
They love to advertise for books in the subway stations.
EVERYONE smokes cigarettes.
At least 60% of the people have a basic grasp on another language other than their native one.
Most people think all Americans have guns.
Everyone drinks all day, every day.
The police care about pretty much nothing except homicide and minding the gap.
No one plays frisbee except for us.
