We spent last night by the Eiffel Tower and met people from every corner of the world. Also walked up the tower and saw the gorgeous view of Paris at night. The top wasn't open but we got to the second level. Later, while walking back to our hostel, we met a kid from Wellesley who also just graduated from high school staying at the same place as us. The world is a tiny, tiny place.
Today didn't begin to great because the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays? But oh well. We may go tomorrow morning. After that, we checked out some very expansive and ornate garden area, the name of which I can't remember right now. Had lunch there, and saw a crazy, shirtless, jacked French guy dancing crazily by himself. We proceeded to l'arc once again, and walked up and got even more breathtaking views of Paris. Now, we're back at the hostel and getting ready to hit the town for our last night here. We're trying to find a discoteque to hang at tonight and are considering staying out til 6 am when the curfew ends. I can't wait.
Oh, and baguettes are delicious.
