Sorry it's been a little while. I'll start where we left off last. So we had an extra day in Geneva cause we missed our train. We were pissed because we lost a day in Barcelona. However, we were able to make the best of it. It took us like 4 and a half hours to find bikes to rent. So worth it. We finally got them and they were free which was even better so we rode them around Geneva for like 2 hours. The best part of the ride was around Lake Geneva just cause of the awesome weather and scenery around us. We took it easy that night because we learned that getting heavily intoxicated did not make it easier to wake up early in the morning. So we check out of our hotel at like 6 in the morning and at the time it is revealed to us that we had been charged like 200 dollars for breakfast that we rarely ever got. So that sucked. Our day didn't get that much better after that. That bitch in Geneva gave us a train schedule for july 1st even though it was june 28th. So we were all like... Is this going to work? And she was all like... Totally. We knew that we had a long day of travel ahead regardless. In total it ended up being like 17 hours of train rides and hell. Along the way we ran into more problems because the trains for the 28th actually aren't the same for the 1st. So F that B. One good thing that happened because of it was that we were able to stop at Avignon for a few hours. We saw the Palace of Popes and all that good stuff. Our last train to Barcelona departed at 830. We were on the connecting train before it which was scheduled to arrive at 809. At our second to last stop the train decided to stay stopped. So were totally like.. wtf mate? These cops came on the train and started checking everyones passports because they heard that Greg J was a fugitive sneaking into the country. Luckily, we avoided them. We got to our last train just as it was about to depart. Phew.
We finally got to our hostel in Barcelona at midnight. Showered. Drank some sangria, super delish. Then we walked to La Rambla which Barcelona's most famous street. Apparently at night it's Barcelona's most famous hooker hub. I know it sounds racist, but I swear that every single hooker was black. I'm sorry. It's just how it was. Greg J got 12. Nothing else was happening so we went back and slept. Yesterday we did a lot. We went back to La Rambla, unfortunately not as many hookers, but there was a sweet market where we got fruits and candies. Then there was some old guy walking down the street, ass naked, with-brace yourselves-the biggest man part ever to exist. Not that we looked. So continuing that theme, we all went to a sex shop afterwards. It was suprisingly classy for a sex shop. We were impressed. Next, we went to La Sagrada Familia which is the sickest most unique church ever. So night rolled in and we got a little crunk. We went with a bunch of people from our hostel this awesome club by the beach. We danced, we met people, danced some more, got really expensive liquids, and then finally realized that it was 6 in the morning. Since it was already so early we just decided to stay on the beach to watch the sunrise. That was sweet. No girls were there. Finally, we made it back to our hostel at like 7 and passed out. Woke up at 12. Got some sunny D and pringles. Saw colin's brothers. Then we went to the beach.
I have never been hotter in my life than I was today at the beach. It was at least, AT LEAST, 10 million degrees celcius. And if you didn't know it is customary for females to remove their tops at the beach. Interesting... very interesting. Now we're back at the hostel planning for tonight. We leave tomorrow for Ibiza. Shits gon be off da hizzie. We'll talk to you after if we're still alive.
Liam.
Bye.

Minor Turbulence
So our train to Barcelona left at 817 this morning. We woke up in our hotel room at 907. Yeah... sucks. Greg and I went to the train station to find the next train to take but the fucking lady at the information booth is a huge snitch so it was the most difficult process ever. We ended up getting one for tmr morning at 658. Thatll have to do. But I guess the day isnt all bad. Greg and I went to Mcdonalds where my lack of french caused me to order 5 medium diet cokes... instead of a #5 with a diet coke. We laughed. Now were about to go rent bikes and just head towards a mountain so that we can just be on a mountain cause its cool. Memorable quote of the day: "Like right now, all I really want is a giant dildo." -Greg Buttons Johnson

Buttons naked adventures
NRJ Music Tour 2009
- Superbus
- Big Al
- Sliimy
- Stress
and many more
to reiterate robs previous post, it was amazing; even though we may have all danced 5 times harder than the surrounding swissies, it was the most intense concert ever. after the difficult yet entertaining walk home, we proceeded to pass out.
930 am wake up next to burg without a shirt on - success
Around noon we decided to go ride bikes. we realized we were in the wrong country and walked around the piers to search for some sort of entertainment. we spotted the famous jet deau. a fucking huge jet. we walked out next to it and it came all over us, soaking all our clothes. it was the wettest ive ever been. thats what she... nvm. Anyway, we saw some paddle boats nearby and rented them for an hour on the lake. after admiring the beauty and drying off for a little while, we took a few tramways and eventually made our way to the Palace of Nations where the UN meets. Unfortunately, tours were closed and we couldnt get inside. Fortunately, there was a giant chair and awesome mini jets outside that we were able to play with. We spent the rest of our night drinking in our hotel room playing asshole. Of course, rob was the asshole most of the game. peace up a town down. fuck you rob. fuck you burg. done.

Wow.
What a crazy night; Michael Jackson died, which almost killed Dave as well, NRJ Music Tour 2009 (look it up, it was the most incredibly fun night ever that I cant even try to describe), and walking 9 and a half miles home from Geneva, singing the entire way. Thats really all I can say.
Wow.

Fuck 2 a.m. curfews.
So, unfortunately, despite much research, we couldn't find a club.
Well, we could, but not one whose clientele wasn't predominantly gay men. And no, I'm not kidding. Because of this insane prejudice, we just hung out by the Eiffel Tower again and met more people from random parts of the world. The main guy we talked to tonight was from Hungary and he was awesome. After running out of stuff, Greg J and I spent at least (AT LEAST) 45 minutes trying to find a convenience store open that we could buy alcohol at. After an eternal stretch of stumbling around, we were led by some guy who worked at a pizza place to an open place and got the elusive beer. Colin and I finished out the night by hanging outside with a teacher from Switzerland while Greg J, Dave and Ryan fell asleep. Tomorrow, we head off to Geneva, Switzerland which we all feel will be a much needed rest and relaxation period from the rest of hectic Europe.
Zoey, if you're reading this, I apologize for doing almost nothing that you recommended. All our time was cut short by both my late arrival as well as our lack of money, sexiness, ability to stay out past 2 a.m. and heterosexual tendencies. But I swear, we'll back be here another time to experience all the wonder that Paris has to offer.
Some notes about Europeans in general:
They love to advertise for books in the subway stations.
EVERYONE smokes cigarettes.
At least 60% of the people have a basic grasp on another language other than their native one.
Most people think all Americans have guns.
Everyone drinks all day, every day.
The police care about pretty much nothing except homicide and minding the gap.
No one plays frisbee except for us.
Os echo de menos mucho.

Baguettes Are Delicious
We spent last night by the Eiffel Tower and met people from every corner of the world. Also walked up the tower and saw the gorgeous view of Paris at night. The top wasn't open but we got to the second level. Later, while walking back to our hostel, we met a kid from Wellesley who also just graduated from high school staying at the same place as us. The world is a tiny, tiny place.
Today didn't begin to great because the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays? But oh well. We may go tomorrow morning. After that, we checked out some very expansive and ornate garden area, the name of which I can't remember right now. Had lunch there, and saw a crazy, shirtless, jacked French guy dancing crazily by himself. We proceeded to l'arc once again, and walked up and got even more breathtaking views of Paris. Now, we're back at the hostel and getting ready to hit the town for our last night here. We're trying to find a discoteque to hang at tonight and are considering staying out til 6 am when the curfew ends. I can't wait.
Oh, and baguettes are delicious.

From Paris with Love
So this is the first Paris post and I only have 6:37 to write this because the hostel is super cool and makes you pay money to use the internet. So besides the 2am curfew and 11am - 5pm lockout and service... the hostel is okay. We're staying with a guy from Switzerland who is very cool. Last night was awesome. It was midnight on a Sunday and we were 4 among like 5,000 people just partying around the eiffel tower. So sick. The tower is really close to our hostel so thats a plus. Today we overslept a little and were waken by the hostel staff but I don't really care about them. We left and went back to the Eiffel Tower, hung for a little bit, then kept walking to l'a Arc de Triomphe. So big. It's right in the middle of this rotary and I do not exaggerate in the least bit when I say that french people are the fuckin craziest drivers ever to exist. People just fly around this rotart around the Arc at like 60 mph, no lanes, no one gives a shit. We only saw a single accident and after a while we were genuinely pissed that no one else was crashing. Then we looked at some expensive clothes, at mcdonalds, rob showed up at last. Everything is good. There is a lot in store for tomorrow. I'll try to post again before we leave. 24 seconds remains. Miss you all still.
